| 1. Why do I only see a large X where a picture should be? |
If you have already been to the page and I have made a change to the images that are displayed since the the last time you visited. To fix this, try clicking your browser's refresh button. If this doesn't work, clear your browser's cache. |

| 2. Why do I only see the top half of the pictures? |
This is usually due to a slow internet connection. If your internet connection is not fast enough to load the picture within a certain amount of time, the page rendering action will "time out" and you will only see part of the picture. Unfortunately the only fix for this is to get a faster internet connection. I have only seen this occur on a 33.6 kb dial up connection. (I only know 1 person who still uses a dial up connection). I have never viewed my website on a 56 kb dial up connection so I don't know if this is fast enough to render my gallery pages correctly. I apologize for the inconvenience this causes if you are still using dial up to get to the internet. |

| 2. Why are your prices so low? |
In the photography business the saying "you get what you pay for" applies in some instances, but not in all. For example - if you have a photographer that is willing to shoot your wedding for $300 - you are going to get what you pay for. I set my prices to strike a balance between getting what my talent and time is worth vs. being competitive. A big part of my competitiveness is my low overhead. I am a 1 man operation. I don't have tens of thousands of dollars worth of gear to pay for or a platoon of assistants, so I don't need to charge $500+ for a simple portrait session. In my case, low price doesn't mean low quality. But don't take my word for it, check out my portfolio and let your eyes be the judge. |

| 3. What is the difference between web resolution and print resolution? |
Web resolution has less pixels than print resolution. The web resolution images that I provide are 600 pixels on the long side. These are reasonably sized images for emailing or uploading to websites. These are not suitable for printing. You could probably get a 4x6 inch print form these images, but it might be a little choppy. For prints of a reasonable size like 8x10 or 8x12 inches you need my print resolution images. These are 4928 pixels on the long side - you can get good quality prints up to 20x30 inches with these images. |

| 4. What is your definition of the Twin Cities Metro Area? |
Start at the junction of Interstate 94 and highway 280. Travel in any direction for 1 hour (non-rush hour). That is my Twin Cities Metro Area. |

| 5. Do you provide re-touching of the pictures? |
If you mean adjusting white balance, contrast, color saturation and applying filters - yes. This is all part of my process of making photographs. If you mean altering the pixels to conceal blemishes - yes and no. I will take care of a spot here and there for a handful of images (at your request). Anything more than that I charge $6 per image. |

| 6. Do you shoot digital or film? |
Most of the time I will be shooting digital. I can shoot in 35mm at your request. I do charge more for film due to the added cost. |

| 7. Do you shoot weddings, or any other things not listed on your Services page? |
I provided the Services page as a convenience for clients that are looking for those things. The items on that page are fairly easy to have a standardized price, but I will shoot just about any project that you might have. After discussing the particulars of your needs, I will provide you with a quote. Just send me an email. |

| 8. What does the quoted start and end time include? |
This time includes everything from the time I arrive to the time I leave. Any hair, makeup, and wardrobe activity that happens during this time is considered "on the clock". It is recommended that as much as possible be done before hand to maximize actual shooting time. If you are planning for wardrobe changes, get all your outfits organized and ready for quick changes. |
